"Looky There" - SOLD

I have 2 photos of these cows - one of them looking away (this one) and one of them looking right at me. That's the problem with cows - they're TOO curious. This was late in the day with just glancing light, which made their legs do fabulous things. That pink isn't made up.

They are too curious indeed. Last week I was taking some reference pictures of cows and within a minute I had a huge audience :)
Love the light here.

Wonderful! I love the block-effect of the brushwork, and the pinks that give the glow a zip. I love to study your paintings.

These are fabulous!! Why did I have to go all the way to Australia to find you? (Pintangle) I was born right here in Austin - and here I am! (designing needlepoint and making pottery)

The light is awesome on this painting and the composition/value patterns works beautifully. I love the way you block in the darks.

Wonderful cow paintings! I agree with you that cows are NOT very cooperative. Maybe those German cows were a bit more cooperative than all the hill country cows I photograph. :)
