Usually the thing that prompts me to paint a series (of a particular subject) is a kind of calling. That subject says - hey! Paint me! And I can't resist. But this time the prompt was someone in my house (not naming names) buying a bunch of eggs when we already had a bunch. They barely fit in the fridge. So I had to do something about it.
