I've been suffering from a miserable cold the last couple of days. I hope as many of you as possible have managed to dodge it, though I hear it's going around. Ugh.

There is something especially calming about this painting. Somehow I think it has to do with the color of the glass container and maybe the peek through the eggs?? What is it? It really draws you in.

Nice work on the bowl. The color shift really caught my eye and I enjoy how you reduced the color intensity in the shadow area. Bravo!
what you make of your shadow area is genius. Still trying not to make them so dense.
I read once that eggs are the most difficult to paint...and afree with D.Joseph above...lovely shadow..
