"Bright Spots" - SOLD

I was going through my paintings yesterday and found a few that I completely forgot to post. This is one I did back when I was boning up for my advanced workshop. This painting covered two tough subjects: white objects and flowers.

Beautiful, Carol! I'm working on those whites! Your instruction was great and I've been practicing ever since. :-)

Oh goodness, I love this one! I love flowers anyway and you, of course, do them so well!

So nice. Glad you found this one!

Did you already have it photographed and in your computer file or did it just show up in the paintings drying around?

Great painting, nice surprise! : )

Happy New Year Carol!

Your eye for colour is breathtaking. The yellow dominates, but it is understanding that it is the blue in the light reflections that holds this together.

As always, in awe.

Hi: Your paintings are beautiful!
I was reading down through your posts...Will you be posting any pictures of the Christmas market in Germany? I know they are such a delight and visual feast.
Now, I'm off to look at your books.

You really use the KISS principle well in this one, lol. I really love how you simplified the flowers, but how they say just what they need to say. Beautiful color too!

I really love this composition and the bright flowers contrasting with the white.
