"Before Midnight" - SOLD


It took several tries to get this right. And it was the reflected light at the bottom of the pumpkin that was the hardest. It is a challenge to get it light enough but not TOO light ... AND the right color.

Yeah, I noticed that about pumpkins, too - that band of reflected light at the BOTTOM!!! YIKES - you nailed it! and I love the ersatz little vine pieces that curl!

oh I know...this darn reflected light at the bottom drives me "batty"...but this is fabulous!! Just in time for Halloween too.....

Yep, me too! Reflective light on certain colors is sooo hard to capture. Congratulations on accomplishing it so well Carol.

Are you sure this isn't the pumpkin that turned into Cinderella's coach? I think it's still infected with some fairy godmother magic dust and that's why it's so beautiful.

This is the coolest painting I have tried and tried to get reflective light right and I just cant get it. You seem to have mastared it!
