"Striped Success" - SOLD

The title of this one has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I had a glass of wine and I'm feeling a little silly. : ) But it may be my favorite of the peaches. There is something about stripes that is ... mesmerising.

You make the art of simplification look so easy, when it is really so hard! Love the stripes.

I like those stripes too. The shadow of the cup is cool too. Love all your peach paintings. Looking forward to your workshop in Maine!!

I agree, I love stripes in still life paintings! These work extra well with the roundness of the bright and brillaint peaches. Great stuff!

There's a lot of drama in this little painting - I really love it! And the peaches are radiant against the tonal background!

I've been meaning to stop by and tell you that these scintillating stripes are just riveting. The brushwork and the understated color....sigh
