This one was a lot of fun and I'm especially happy with it. What's really funny is that when I was choosing images for my book, from my files organized by date, the better ones were clumped together. In other words, I tend to do my better work (in my opinion anyway) in spurts. I found that surpising - I thought they'd be all spread out. I thought of this today because I've been really happy with my paintings lately (the small ones anyway).
By the way, I want to send out a BIG thank you to everyone who has bought my book. I got an overwhelming response, and I am still pinching myself daily!

How Cute! Looks like the meager pickins are trying to scoot away from the oinkers!!! As always, delightful and beautifully done.
This one made me smile...too cute, the look on the piggy banks faces...like the one is questioning this offering and wondering where is the money...
Show me the Money.
You really captured this well.
Your little piggies are absolutely brilliant-I love the way you get solidity with such an economy of means.
This is one of my favorites- colors, comp, everything-the whole piece just 'sings':)
Hi Carol, My son (5years) just saw this painting and loves it. He said "Oh look, someone has a monster piggy piggybank and a baby one" He is now going to paint his piggy bank too.
Happy painting!
Hi Carole:
I really like your work. I love the strong defined shapes on the pigs, Very good use of strong contrasting colors.

Looks like a nice mother and child; an unique version of the nativity!
I have been looking for a piggy bank like this for some time now and now see that you found two of them. I covet the pigs... as always, love your work. ps - finally saw the clip with Dr. Phil. You guys were great and looked really relaxed... good job!
I really do understand the "spurts"!
Lovely, got your book and I love it!!!!
I have found the same thing with the "spurts".
Wonderful piece, I love the transparency in some of the brushwork a great compliment to the thick juicey strokes.
What a fun painting and I am drawn to your beautiful color! I bought your book and just love it. Looking forward to April and class in Jacksonville Florida!! I have waited for over a year to do this.
Love the little story happening in this one. Your sly humor is fun!
I am so hoping that Santa brings me your book for Xmas! I put it on my list!
Your titles are as wonderful as your artwork
Got your book in time for Christmas, really lovely, and I hope it's been a real success for you.
One small thing if you ever re-print: Can you put the title on the spine?
As soon as I put it on the shelves, I lose it!
