They recently opened a Goodwill in Bastrop, near where I live, which means I don't have to drive into Austin anymore to get my fix. It was there I found this awesome copper watering can. I am excited to add it to my collection.
So simple and so beautiful! I love how you have made the spout look sooo long, and how you make the copper look so metallic. Carol, I continue to page through your book (last time was to find that little mouse and get your pointers on painting gold) and am inspired every time. I do hope you will make the book a Christmas tradition. It will be at the top of my list every year!
Fabulous work. I also have done a still life painting inspired with ur work. plz. visit on my page and comment to sharp it. I vil b very thankful to u. my page add. is http://www.kalganmukesh.blogspot.com Thank u.
I like these monochromatic pieces; it's easier for me to focus on your values. Would you care to comment on placement of a signature/choosing a color for the signature. I'd be interested.
'Thought of you yesterday as I am on holiday near a TJMAX. Their shapely collection of glass and pottery (lots of nice reds in both categories) is tempting; just look at my receipts! They had the neatest little hand-blown glass fish with a dorsal hole for a single blossom. But I digress....

What a great addition to your collection. Just like your last post the neutral background really highlights the colors in the copper water container.
Simply beautiful like all your work.
Happy new year.
A classic item and well done. There is a thrift shop, Bits and Pieces at Loop 150 and HWY 71, too, by the entrance to Tahitian Village.
A lovely subtle warmth throughout!
very good!
