"Grape-Plated" - SOLD

Beleive it or not I went around and around on how to position these grapes on the plate. Sometimes it just doesn't come easy. It seems my mood is tied closely to my last painting, which is really frustrating when I've done a real dog. I do like how this finally turned out, but I spent a few hours not liking anything else. Ugh.

I am so glad you chose this perspective for painting. I even like the yellow color of the graps ... I assume they are more green, right? Another great one.

Great colors and just the suggestion of a structure holding the grapes together is awesome. I know what you mean about the positioning, but with the shadow, it looks just perfect. You nailed it!

This is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the internal battle too--sometimes it is sooooo hard to paint! It is nice to know others find the struggle is not always with the materials! You are an amazing person!
