I only did one close-up painting like this and now I wish I'da done more. And may do so still - from the gazillion reference photos I took. The reason I liked this particular truck is the yellow/turquoise combination - so cool.
Everything you paint is so awesome. It's amazing how you can find such great compositions, color combinations, interesting perspectives...You are so talented Carol!
I just realized my old Ford Ranger might just have enough character now to be a painting subject. I certainly won't have any problem getting it to sit still. Thats the only thing it still does reasonably well.
