"Come Out & Play?" - SOLD

I am flying to Boston tomorrow for a couple of workshops, just in time for a big storm on Monday! Apparently they will be having 8 to 12 inches of snow, which, being from Texas and having not actually seen snow in quite a few years, freaks me out a little. But they assure me people do this all the time, and that I'll come back alive. I hope to post with updates ... I didn't even ask about internet ... wish me luck.

and to think I entertained the idea of flying back from Naples to attend that workshop! Then I came to my senses and signed up for Jacksonville. Good Luck Carol. I hope you enjoy the snow.

How fun to see some snow! Enjoy it! It may be kinda cool to paint somewhere when you know it's snowing, like sorta cozy and homey?
Will the workshop location have a roaring fire going? LOL

Good luck in the snow Carol!
Maybe a little snowy plein air sketch to share when you get back?

Yes, they STILL have internet service in Boston when it snows ;-)

Enjoy!

8 - 12" of newly fallen snow sounds delightful. Find the colors in the snow!

I'm certain you'll survive and have a great time to boot! I join you in being glad that snow is not a part of our daily winter life.

This painting is terrific. You have such an economy of brushwork.. You create delightful paintings with simple form, light and color!

For whatever reason I love the dark side of the cup. It just punches out for me.

I am jealous ... snow sounds great ... it was 88 degress in La this weekend. I love this painting. One quick question - Did you underpaint the canvas with the light red color? Love the red highlights!

That's a perfect red.
