"Bodyguard" --- SOLD

This must be my week - I just found out the 2 paintings I entered into the Salon International show were accepted (a huge honor)! For those of you in/near San Antonio, the reception for this show is April 12th (check out the website for the Greenhouse Gallery for more details).

Dear Carol--I am so impressed with your small paintings that I have tried some of my own--would love a critique from you. I am in San Antonio and showing at a new gallery in La Villita. See me at pamelaclarkson.blogspot.com

Congratulations on your great success and I marvel at how you are able to translate rounded objects into hexagonal patterns without remorse.

Carol congratulations on your acceptance to the Salon International Show. Well deserved.Coincidently, Stacey Peterson at http://www.slpeterson.blogspot.com announced today her acceptance also of two paintings. You are two young women on the rise that would seem to have a lot in common personnally and professionally even though maybe differing painting goals.

I would appreciate any insight into your ideas, thinking on how or why you have progressed to the reverse painting of straight brush marks around round objects. The still lifes on your website are fantastic and inspirational. Great design and color.

Thanks for sharing.
