We've had a super mild winter here in Missoula, but right now it's having one last gasp with several inches of snow. Fortunately it's pretty to look at out the window as I nurse the last of my cold. This dog can relate.

My mother-in-law taught me how to knit, and I've appreciated it ever since. It's one of those things I can sit and do for hours. Somehow it takes up just enough of the analytical side of my brain to let my creative brain wander uninhibited. My mother-in-law's name is Carol too. Carol Jane Marine, and I'm Carol Jean Marine.
