Pepper Sacrifice

Tomatoes and bell peppers are a particular challenge because they are fairly translucent. And so the shadow sides are not as dark as more solid objects, and the shadows they cast are often tinted the color of the objects. But only subtly so. It's easy to overdo it. I find myself squinting more with these guys.

I love the variety of shadow color that happens when you get a bit of reflected yellow bell pepper nearby. So fun.
