Sittin' Pretty
sold
I took the photo for this earlier this year at my friend Ruth's house. She has lots of animals and I keep meaning to go back and spend some time there, taking pictures. I had planned to do it this summer, but ... where has it gone?! My son starts school again next week. Crazy!

"Walk the Doggie" & TSHIRTS!
sold
This is from an image I took in San Francisco. I loved the slightly pidgeon-toed walk and the cute, red doggie vest.
Cafe Press came through for me! Pictured right are my son and I modeling the two designs I received yesterday (both adult sizes). The first read "carol's kids kan paint! (but we kan't spell)" & the 2nd is easier to see, "eat. sleep. paint." The first is actually my idea, and the second is from Wendy Grimes - thanks, Wendy!!
I put my designs on a few tshirts (and other things), but if you find one they offer that isn't in my store, it can be easily added, just let me know. MY CAFE PRESS STORE.
FYI - The prices are all cost - I'm not making a profit from this.

Oatis
sold
I met this little guy in a store the other day on a wander with my husband. He was up on the counter in this great light and I said to the lady working there, "He would be so cool to paint." She said, "Yeah." My husband said, "My wife is an artist," and the lady said, "Oh, you really mean it!" So I pulled out my cell phone and started snapping away. The reference photo wasn't great, but I'm so happy with the painting! Here are some process photos taken with my iphone -->

What Are You Waiting For?
This is from one of the photographs I took on the beach in Georgia. I love the expectant dog and the tennis ball thrower. It was really fun doing people for a change.

Out For a Sit
Click Here to BidI spied these two in Freiburg. The dog seemed under the illusion they were out for a walk, but apparently it was more for a sit. Although, judging from the shopping bags, there had been some walking. Poor guy.
Tomorrow I am off to Fish Creek, Wisconsin for a 5-day workshop.

Let Us In Already - SOLD

The dogs above belong to my stepdaughters and their mom. Maya, the star, proved very photogenic. Can you tell it's hot already here in Texas?
But not tonight. Tonight, for my party, the weather was perfect! Cool and dry. I gave my husband the task of taking pictures and unfortunately he took VERY few and only of just a few of our visitors (I mean, where am I, David?!), at the beginning of the evening. I guess he was too busy visiting. I want to thank all of you who came, and all who wrote wishing you could come. It means a lot to me to be surrounded by such kind, supportive folks. And no, this is not just the wine talking. : )
