Into the Glow

sold. (6x6in.)

This is another scene from Berlin, about a block from the flat we rented. The sun was just peeking over the buildings on the opposite side, and the glow from it was just magical!

Walking in Berlin

sold. (6x6in.)

This is another scene from Berlin. It was the end of fall there, and the last of the color was still clinging to the trees. On this day the sun was peeping out here and there from the clouds, making for a kind of surreal feel to the city.

Red Door

sold. (6x6in.)

After a 3 day and 2 night journey, & very little sleep (long story) we are home again! And now for a few paintings from Berlin. This first one was a common sight there. Apparently most of Berlin was destroyed during WW2 and was rebuilt afterwards, so most of the buildings are relatively new, and similar. We walked around a lot while we were there, and everywhere we went my son said, "I think we've been here before."
