Today I am experimenting with photographing my oil paintings vs. scanning them. This top one is a photo and below is the scan. I had to do more with the scanned version to "fix" the color, and it still doesn't look exactly right. The photo is fuzzier, I think because it's hard to get a totally accurate focus. They took about the same amount of time, but the benefit of the scan is I can do it any time of day. Anyway, still experimenting.
