It may be a modest creature, but this is my personal favorite animal painting, of late. I had to re-arrange the background a bit to make the (Pixabay) reference photo work as a painting, but I like how it turned out. The goal was to have it compliment the frog, without taking any attention away from him. You probably didn't notice - which is the point!
