Another one from Colorado. My friend Pen and I spent a couple of lovely days at the South Platte River, where the rocks were often bigger than cars, and pink. During one plein air session my easel blew over towards me, and my mineral spirits emptied all over my favorite travel pants. Fun times. I thought I'd try it again, in gouache, from the comfort of my studio. No spills this time.
