Here's a rather abstract little gouache. It's from Sweet Creek in Oregon - a scene I photographed years ago and have always wanted to paint. But it just didn't work in oil.

And this is from Red Rock Canyon in Arizona. We had a lovely stop there on a family trip a while back. Same story - I just couldn't pull it together in oil. I think I've found my medium for landscapes!! Or at least ... another option.
