I find as I paint more and more, I see more and more. That can be both good and bad, in my opinion. The good is maybe obvious? The bad is that I tend to see (and try to add) too much detail. So I'm really forcing myself lately to suggest as much as possible. After all, as my friend Jill Carver says, "I'd rather paint a poem rather than a dissertation."
