Comfort
sold. (6x6in.)
When I got home from the mountains I had a hankering to paint some still life. I had been using a block-in first method outside, and decided to try it on some cups. It was a horrible failure and I wiped it off immediately! And then did a few more wipers for good measure. It was late so I wrote a note to myself for the next day to "slow down." This was the first one I did the next morning. It was like a meditation, and just what I needed.

Wonderful you finessed it! The tea looks positively drinkable!
