I took the photo for this one in Germany on one of my visits there. I can't remember which town I was in, but it was somewhere in/near the black forest. I love looking through my old files and finding little gems like this to paint from. Isn't that green just yummy?!

I enjoy the shapes in this one. How do you determine these values from your photo?
Thanks, Liz! I'm not sure I understand your question. The values in the painting are very close to those in the photo, so I just painted them as I saw them. Please let me know if you mean something different. Thanks!
