This is another scene from around my town. I seem to be drawn to front porches especially. And even better when the doors are red, and the light is dapple-y.
I finished reading your book last night. It has motivated me to sell online. Or at least try. I had finally put my website together with a blog and all. Of course also using DailyPaintWorks. Thanks for writing such a beautiful yet practical book Carol!
Your paintings are always an inspiration Carol. I was unable to paint for a while in January so I ordered your book "Daily Painting" and read it, cover to cover, in short order. What a great reference guide filled with valuable information and a wonderful sense of humor!I was struggling with my painting yesterday - very frustrating. After reviewing your book, I quickly recognized my problem and ended up with a painting I am happy with. Thank you for all you do for us Daily Painters!

Twin red doors - how great is that for a find when you love porches, red doors and dapple-y light. Love that word...dapple-y.
This structure has such character! Love the approximation of lines. Nothing is rigid,stiff or entirely straight. Your dappled light is fun too!
