Midnight Rendezvous
sold
I have a confession to make. This was not painted by the moonlight, even though it looks like it. And I didn't even realize the effect until I saw it again in my studio this morning (I painted it yesterday). But hey, it's pretty cool, huh? Cool being the reason it looks like night-time...
On a different but slightly related note, it was really foggy today here in Eugene, OR. At around dinner-time I realized I didn't have the right kind of cheese for the quiche I was making, so I drove to the nearest store (in the fading light) to get some. On the way I noticed the very cool way the streetlights were emphasized in the fog. If I hadn't had 2 kids waiting on me for dinner, I would have gotten my camera and wandered a bit for some photos. Can anyone recommend any evening fog painters/ings?
