Just saw the amazing Van Gogh exhibit at the Phillips Collection in DC. "Repetitions" shows, side by side, the many versions Van Gogh created of his subjects. His first version was often quick, bold, wet-in-wet capturing the mood and the composition...just like you Carol! Loved watching you paint at your recent Door County workshop.
