This title was meant to be. It and the painting came together so perfectly I actually did a little happy dance right there in my studio. It doesn't happen every time, but I sure do love it when it does.
I hate to paint and run, but my family and I are off tomorrow to see my oldest step-daughter get married! We'll stay in Texas for a week after, and I'm leaving my painting gear behind. The good news is - I did several extra paintings today so I could still post periodically, and well, I really like them, so stay tuned.

Another great painting Carol! I love it... and I also love how you put so many colors (all the different shades of red) in an apple! I would like to be able to see colors like that. Maybe I should take your tip and SQUINT. :)
Just perfect. Love the colors in this and I like how you suggested a dark object behind the clear bottle so it stands out. Very nice!
Hi carol. Love your work. Also wanted to thank you for so generously sharing how you built your still life setup and also your own art journey. It inspires me to just keep painting and working hard. Could you tell me what the reflective surface is that you use beneath your still life objects ?
