I snapped the photo for this at the Saturday Market here in Eugene last spring. I love the red coat. I took my time painting - didn't rush any bit of it. Took 3 hours, which is quite a bit longer than usual. I'm really proud of this one.
Love Little Miss Red Coat!! She is intently engrossed which is intriguing. Love how you captured the mood of expectancy. I can also feel the chill in the air. Cool!
Beautiful work! The colors and the expression are great. Wow, you are fast if you can complete a painting in under 3 hours. I'm lucky to get one done in 3 days. Last year a painting took 3 weeks for me to complete, so I have speeded up!
This is spectacular Carol, I especially love the violet on her forehead and cheek. Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt is really beautiful Carol.

ReplyDeleteAs usual, love the color and painterly look.

So lovely, Carol. Her face is so freshly painted, and I love the movement you have in the hands behind. I love it all.
ReplyDeleteYou should be, it's a beauty.
