This is from one of the photographs I took on the beach in Georgia. I love the expectant dog and the tennis ball thrower. It was really fun doing people for a change.

  3. Hello, Carol!
from one side of the world as people have similar activities on the sandy beach!
Your painting is vivid and has all the atmosphere of these moments and these places (I was born in Tuscany in a country of sandy beach, Lido di Camaiore).
I admire the way you paint expressive,
    with deep colors!

  4. Beautifully done, Carol! I love the looseness. And what a narrative. Girl's best friend.

  5. I love the dog! You captured his happiness with so few strokes! And I really like the sun on the girl's back. Very nice!

  7. P.S. I'm putting in a request for a painting I'd like to see you do, because you know, artist's love being told what to do and all. But I'd really love to see you paint a horse. :)

  8. It's just so all-around playful. The scene is charged with fun emotion and every stroke and color choice expresses GLEE.

  9. Love it! It never ceases to amaze me how you create subtle "life" in the quiet areas of your artwork, supporting the areas that sing. The movement in your grouping is very calligraphic and divine!
