Clouds Over Water

Above is another painting from Georgia, and below are a few moments I captured at my Sedona workshop (just finished up today): a couple of great squints, a Ruthie snacking, and some careful arranging.

Below are my demos and one painting I did after class one day (sold).

And last but not least, a photo of me and my lovely kids. They were a fun group, but a little obsessed with underwear for some strange reason. Nonetheless, we had a great time!

Nice, nice, nice! A landscape with that Carol feel. Looks just like our clouds here in Maine. I love it. Please come back and visit us again soon.

Very nice Carol, lovely work.
Little story for you. I was at my art club here in Monk Fryston UK, when one of the members brought along some small paintings she had done and we began discussing the benefits of small daily paintings. I dropped your name in and hey presto she knew all about your work. Here's me thinking that I was the sole UK fan club member.
How little I know.

Carol, great atmosphere in this painting - I also like the color for the toned ground and where how you left spots exposed.

Wish I could take one of your workshops, maybe some day. Love those squinting photos, lol. Love your cloud painting too, fun to see you painting these different subjects.

Fabulous workshop Carol! I can't wait to get into the studio tomorrow! It was lovely to meet you and fun to discuss underwear. Oh, and the author I mentioned is Anne Lamott.

Now, I'm off to google "purple power painting panties" because they sound just like what I've been dreaming of...

Carol- Thanks again for your knowledge during the "Business of Blogging" in Sedona. You inspired me to paint and post it immediately today and it feels good! I am getting back on the blogging horse.
