Tomato Tea
I have to admit I did a little happy dance when I found this green teapot at the thrift store recently. I did NOT do a happy dance last night when I attended a figure session and had to wipe my painting after 3 hours. I think it is so easy for a figure painting to get ... awkward, and that's what happened to mine. But not to worry, I was doing a sort of sloppy, happy dance after drowning my sorrows in wine with my friend Sarah, whose painting DID turn out (though she hasn't posted it yet).

definitely a beauty of a little teapot. Interesting to me how you balanced the red tea bags on one side with the little tomato on the other.
Well, you sure can't complain about how this tomato tea turned out. Absolutely terrific! Wonderful combination of colors; and that spoon handle, tying it all together! wow! :)
I LOVE the color of the teapot! Really keeps up with the reds. Question: do you use a medium? Also what kind of brushes do you use? You may have already told everyone, but I wasn't paying attention that day!
Can't believe no other comments. This is an absolutely wonderful painting. The colors are spectacular and the arrangement just perfect. Love it!!!he
Love this one! The green teapot is so sweet and the whole tea theme is perfect. Thanks for sharing that you wipe even with all your experience. Painting is so hard, I think that is part of what keeps us coming back.
Have I seen you paint these colors in a while? I don't think so...love it. Can't pick a favorite part, love the whole thing.
You have great combination and expression of colors! They have volume, so it's not a flat green, it seems deep.
Hi Carol, I love the reflections in this painting... especially the red on the spoon. Absolutely beautiful work as always!
