Several of you asked what it was I wiped after 6 hours. I was recently looking through some old photos from Germany and picked out a market scene I particularly liked. It was busy but I figured I could simplify it and make it work. Not.

Way to go wiper girl. Sooo liberating!
Ooooh, you are so good!
Wonderful! - love the blue-orange combo and the two kinds of blue in the shadow. Amazing!
Ohhh.. nice. Great blue/grays.
You must get a sore neck looking down into the box.
Gorgeous! Both the glass and the oranges look translucent. And I love the two shades of blue in the shadow.
Blue shadow so beautiful. Keep trying - it might not be a wiper tomorrow!
Wipeouts happen....
Nice! Love those blues in the shadow. So interesting that you used different blues.
Well, this one sure works well-beautiful blues and the orange pieces look translucent-great job!
Fantastic clean color! So brilliant and inspiring. i should loosen up bit!
I've noticed a whole different color/light thing happening in your work lately. I know you use lighting etc., but do you notice that the light in Oregon is an influence in your recent colorings? Everything looks soft and misty and muted. Strikingly beautiful colorwork.

Don't you hate when that happens? Since taking your workshop I never hesitate to wipe anymore...it's good advice although painful at times. This painting is lush-lush-lush--must have eased the pain of the wiper.
I like the way you express the sense of object without its details! It's close to the style I use in chineese wuxing painting.
