Reflecting Persimmons

My buddy Sarah gave me these lovely persimmons right before I left last week for Illinois ... which is where I met my latest batch of troublemakers. We were a bit cozy in the space, which worked out since it was especially cold outside. Here they are acting like good little artists:



And below is my entire group of kids. Can you tell which one gave me the most trouble? But really, it was a great group! We had a lot of fun, despite Kristen's antics. : )

    You are a master of composition and this is one of my particular favorites! I love the bright colors of the persimmons and the reflections in the pitcher.

    Fantastic piece, Carol! Those muted blues with the vibrant orange colors really zing. The metal pitcher with the reflections are perfect!

    What a nice looking group of artists there, I'm guessing the troublemaker is the blond in the front row with the pink jacket, but that's just a guess.

    New favorite...persimmons are tough as the value and temperature shifts are so subtle....You nailed this! Love the persimmons AND the silver pitcher. And the reflections. And the shadows...See...this is what I learned from you- KEEP LOOKING AND COMPARING EVERYTHING TO EVERYTHING!
