I am really having to crack the whip with my class here in Cypress Mill, TX! They whine and complain, as if they've never done a hard day of painting in their whole lives. The only thing that seems to get them through is the promise of brownies or some other goody with lunch, but afterwards they talk of naps - pah! I'll post photos of these slackers soon. ; )
Meanwhile, two tulips I got at Central Market last week. Get the title?

Carol.. Terrific! You know what it is? You didn't try to do too much. It's only a 6 inch painting after all. You really are an amazing painter..
Sure do like these tulips! Less is more sometimes.
Did I miss the brownies in NC? You'd be proud of your NC kids, at least 3 of us have started painting daily. You are a great inspiration and teacher, thanks for sharing your talent and knowledge.
my favorite flower, did you know they continue to grow longer stems even after cutting, those babies never give up, my kind of flower! Oh, and gorgeous painting. Kick those slackers....
Lovely! Love the color of the flowers and the softness of how you paint glass.
Ah, spare the rod...
It is a day for posting tulips, we must be ready for spring. I just post some too. :)
I lo-love it! ;)
The best example of lost and found edges ever. You are amazing!
