Elephant Herds Orange - SOLD

I left the studio for one minute - came back to find this little, black elephant wrangling my orange slices! I think he wanted them all back in one piece. But that's ok, I've been wanting to paint the elephant for a while.
WORKSHOP update: I've added one more workshop for this year, in Aurora, IL - December. See my schedule (on right) for more info.

It's amazing how graphic that little elephant is - from such a point of view! It reads "Elephant" immediately - you rock!
You can't trust those elephants....

Haha! I laughed when I saw this painting, and your comments made me smile again. I love the colors and how everything forms these wonderful abstract shapes.

I love that the title of this painting reads like a headline, "Elephant Herds Orange. . . "
'. . . more at ten.'

Excellent job! Particularly with such a dark element in the left - my eye still travels all around - beautiful shades of white in the background too.
