People ask me sometimes if I ever use fake flowers. You might have noticed this particular flower in quite a few of my paintings. It is the only fake one I use. It looks pretty fake in person, but somehow it always comes out looking real in paint. Otherwise I use real flowers.

ooh- LOVE the colors cast onto the cloth from the glass! Wonderful!!
Totally real!!!
I was just thinking today that I have never tried lighting from behind. It's so effective in this one. I like this one a lot. Your husband walked me through the solution to a problem I had loading my photo on DPW Challenge today. What a nice guy. I could tell even though he was just a person in cyberspace.
Wow! Your bottles are fantastic in this one, expecially the large one. Love the reflections in the glass and the colour and light in the shadows. And that little fake flower looks so real! :-)
Just love that little brown bottle!
Love the colors in these bottles and their reflections. Fun composition as always!
I love the colorful shadows! Spectacular!
I don't know why people think about your flowers those things. I remember you sometimes painted some " gallardia aristata". They are perfectly recognizable. Your bottles have colors, shadows and brightness perfect. ¡Qué poderío!
This is wonderful-great composition and beautiful
realistic shadows from the glass bottles.
