"Out of Reach" - SOLD

On this one I was trying to apply what I learned from the "brush stroke exercise" of a few days ago. I applied the paint a little thicker on parts, and really tried to be ever more deliberate with each brush stroke. It ended up taking much longer to paint than usual, but I'm really happy with the result.
We have been thrilled with the submissions to the Daily Paintworks Challenge. At last count there are 18 ... so far!!

I love the contrast between warm and cool colors in this painting.

Nicely saturated colors here, Carol.

Beautiful use of opposites colours blue and orange. I love how you arrange and paint everyday objects in such a small area! You inspire me!

Another wonderful composition, Carol.

I ordered your book, and I was so excited when it came. I can look at it for only a few pages, then I have to wait a bit. It's like trying to eat an entire box of chocolates! It is beautiful and inspiring!
