I did this series of paintings before my advanced workshop last week in order to bone up on some of the more difficult still life subjects. This one is a combination of white, metal and glass. And it was hard, let me tell you.
Hi Carol, I am keeping my eye in a workshop near my home, hopefully I can attend one soon! I love this painting I have a very hard time with grays, cool grays, warm grays..... Any advise on how to "see" them? Thank you AV
Hi Carol: Can you please summarize what the key is to portraying each of these three subjects? ie: look for..., pay attention to... etc -things people don't usually see. Thanks so much Sharon
Hi Carol: Do you think you could please give a hint as to solving what makes each of these so difficult? Is there something that seems to be wrong in the ones that don't work, what to watch out for, etc? Thanks so much in advance Sharon

I love the beautiful grays you make. So many both warm and cool.

Like all your work. Getting glass to look so good - that's incredible!
I can imagine this was challenging, but you pulled it off so well...not that I'm surprised. :)
This is amazing!
