"Waiting For Lunch" - SOLD

I saw these gals in Maine waiting for their hamburgers just like the rest of us. They looked so cool in this light with the blue in the shadows of their white shirts and all the green green grass. Very summer I think.

Awesome painting Carol! LOVE the body language, it has waiting written all over it.

You've really captured the waiting posture! I can recall the feeling just by looking at your painting.

You captured that moment perfectly! With a painting like this, do you work from a photograph? You must if you were just about to have lunch- but I could totally see you whipping out the paint and capturing the moment as well!

Ha! I remember these ladies. Leave it to you to capture them in a painting. Love their postures.

Love it. Did you ask to photograph them, or just remember the way they were sitting.

Looks very spontaneously done as always. The figures look alive but I also like the light and coulours. A pure pleasure.
