pears & a workshop

8"x16" - also for my upcoming show...

Tomorrow I am off to TAKE a 3-day workshop from one of my favorite painters of all-time - Jill Carver. I can't wait to soak it all up and do some painting outside! I'll post about it tomorrow night.

Wow ... I didn't know painters as good as you actually need to take workshops! Have fun!

Great! You deserve a workshop for yourself.

Jill's paintings have the Trevor Chamberlain effect on me. You go girl!

Like Leslie stated up above, I didn't think an artist with your talent would need to take a workshop.

But I guess even great artists still need to hone their skills.

Oh and the yellow pears look great! They look like they're coming right at you from this vantage point.

And I love that the closest pear in the foreground is the most intense yellow. Subtle, but I noticed it.
