Lately I had the idea to make little drawings and add them to my collages. I bought myself some good, waterproof pens of varying sizes, and jumped in. Right before this I spent a couple of weeks making little paper mache birds, just for fun, so I guess I've got birds on my mind.

As sad/hard as this whole virus/shutdown thing has been, one upside is that really great artists are putting more instruction online, and some of it is free! Specifically, I am finding lots of free videos on Instagram, and from Sentient Academy. I just paid for a month of Schoolism so that I can watch John Burton's "Environment and Light" tutorial. For those interested in getting better at landscape painting, I highly recommend it. It's always good to have another perspective.
