Togetherness

First, news: MY BOOKS ARE IN! I created 3 new books, by subject. You can purchase them here, all together or individually (free shipping for domestic orders!).
Second, you may have noticed that this is my first post in a little while. I have strayed FAR from daily painting - ha! That's because I had to take a break. It happens sometime where I get overwhelmed. Or rather, maybe underwhelmed. Nothing looks good to me anymore, and it feels like I've forgotten how to paint. It's happened enough now that I know the signs. So I remind myself that all creative people go through this, and then I step away. I give myself the space to get really, thoroughly bored. And I always hear the inspiration coming back to me again, like a train from far, far away, slowly, and then fast. And one day I can't WAIT to get back in my studio. : )

Hi Carol - thanks for sharing so openly about this uncomfortable stage of artistic life. I am right there too - experiencing no creativity flowing!
Hope you are all loving your new home and are enjoying exploring the great outdoors around you.

Wow! Thanks ever so much for this. I didn’t know this was a common thing among creatives. You are and always will be inspirational.
