Boat Bumpers

sold

I took the photo for this one when I was in Ventura, CA recently. I love the abstract nature of it. But you can tell what it is, right?

Today was my official book launch day! So many of you have written or posted about it and I am OH so grateful for all your kind words!! Some local friends are throwing a baby shower (for the birth of my book) later this month, and I wish you all could be there. I'll post some pictures for those who can't make it. : )

Also, my family and I just got home from a little camping adventure to the Redwoods. I posted some pictures on Instagram, in case you're interested, under the moniker, carolmarine.

Hi Carol....I just received your book this afternoon and am so impressed. You have sunk your expertise, heart and soul into it. Amazing, truly.

I've followed your blog for years and continue to enjoy your style and range of subject matter. Your work is masterful and refreshing.

Thank you for sharing your years of painting wisdom with the rest of us artists. Signing off, I have a great book to go snuggle up and read. Blessings!

I really love this, especially with the pop of red from the buoy. Beautiful.

This is cool, I knew right away what I was looking at but you're right it could also be an abstract.

Brilliant! Wot an eye! You make this realism look like high abstract art. Well done.
BTW, my pre-order of your book is on its way according to Amazon. Yes!

Hi, I ordered your book when it first came to Amazon and looked forward to my delivery date, which was yesterday. I made sure I was up and about super early waiting for the UPS man. I spent the day checking the "track your parcel", looking out of the window, listening for the truck. At 3pm it came! I was so excited! I've had my nose in it ever since! I love it, I'll definitely be making more purchases to give as gifts to my friends back home in the UK. I hope to get on one of your workshops some day. You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your paintings, your thoughts and your knowledge.

Hi Carol, I got your book in the mail yesterday and absolutely love it. Wow, you did an amazing job with text, photos, and editing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the book. Bravo!
