Sky in the Water

sold

This one is from my recent excursion to Sweet Creek. I stopped at a couple of creeks along the way, so I think this actually might be part of a different creek, but I'm not sure of the name. At any rate, I LOVED playing with the colors in the water. So fun!

Tomorrow I head off to Hood River, OR, for 4 days, to do some plein air painting with friends. Maybe I'll even have something to show for it when I'm done. : )

DUDE! This is stunning! The transparency of the water...the light and shadows...the color! I gasped when I saw it! In awe,

Wow! Carol your skills of landscape painting have vastly improved (in my opinion) and you offer a different style altogether in comparison to what almost any other mayor landscape painter do. You are a great inspiration for me as I decided to give daily painting a serious try and my focus is landscapes. Keep it up!

Beautifully captured light! Is a creek what we in Scotland call a "burn"?
