This is another one from a photo I took in San Francisco recently. It was actually the very first picture I took, on the first day, right down the street from our hotel, in the morning. The sun was just coming up over on the right, bouncing off some of the buildings on the left, making everything else glow. So cool.

Carol, I'm enjoying seeing the city as you saw it - this is another painting I love - I don't think I would have ever honed in on something so complicated and thought to paint it! My favorite part(s) of this composition is the depth created by the layers of the buildings and the many directional pulls made by all the different angles of the architecture, signs, lines, etc.
