Alley Shadows

THIS one I am really proud of. It's not every day you find a perfect shadow like this, cast on a perfectly wonderful blue building, AND manage to get a good photo of it. This is Germany again - same town as yesterday.

That is a great shadow shape. I really like how sensitive you were with the treatment of the doorway on the right and the windows on that blue building - beautifully simplified with just the right amount of information. And that spot of yellow at the end of the street that pulls my eye there - very nicely done!

Super, Carol. Especially the door, part light and part shadow.

I love this one! All about that sunlight and shadow and you painted it beautifully! I am marveling at all the gorgeous perspective that is just so well done too! Love the figure pulling you in and that pop of yellow holds you there to see what it is:) Carol, loving seeing the personal growth in your work and all the different subject matter! This one looks like it was pure fun!!

You should be proud of this one. I love that shadow shape also and those pinky windows. Looks like you are having fun again. :)

Carol, The shadow is painted really well but for me it is the figure that makes the painting.
