Silly Sunburn

This is the kind of thing I get a real kick out of painting. Lots of color - apples - a funny kind of ... spork. It really floats my boat.

In other news, I have just discovered the joys of Pinterest! It's like an online bulletin board. I was busy last night and this morning pinning all kinds of art that I love. Check them out. Once you get going it's pretty addictive.

Bright and colorful, it's hard to imagine this is all in a little 6x6" - Thanks for sharing your favorites on Pinterest and even better still that you cited your sources - I see a morning of blog and web browsing coming my way -

I really like the patterns in this one, Carol. Really interesting arrangement. And of course, the apples are beautiful.

Oh, Carol! Save yourself! Since I have been on Pinterest, my own painting time has decreased substantially. That is where I found you, actually. Love your work~ Sally Shea

Hi Carol, enjoying your apples and all the others you do.

Re Pinterest. I just came across this, sent by another art friend. It appears to have serious copyright issues, so worth checking out.

Re: Pinterest -- it *is* addictive! I'm seeing that a lot of artists are concerned about people "pinning" images from their site. But this seems to me to be a great avenue of benign marketing. After all, if you click on the image in Pinterest, it takes you back to the artist's website.
