Coincidentally, this is what I had for dessert tonight, except the cream was whipped. But you have never seen real strawberries if you haven't seen German ones. They are RED. And I mean red all the way through. And beautiful. I have never seen such PERFECT strawberries! And yummy too. : )

Yummy!!! We lived in Germany for a few years and there are many things that I enjoyed while living there. Beautiful painting:)
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful; I love the tone and highlights you create. Very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol
ReplyDeleteI love this one. And I want you to know that my painting has improved by leaps and bounds since the Benalto workshop. Thanks so much!

Yum!! You got me with those gorgeous reds. Then the glass and shadows followed suit. Wonderful painting. Love the view through the milk pitcher to the plate- just distorted enough:)
ReplyDeleteYum! This is gorgeous! I love the way you paint strawberries. And i don't think i've ever had a red all the way through strawberry. Which is kind of sad don't you think? ;) Now I have a new goal.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you are "im Schwarzwald" again. I love these Erdbeeren! Have fun!
