"Orange Stacks" - SOLD

We have arrived! It took us 2 days to get here to Schluchsee, Germany - 13 hours on airplanes, 4 hours on trains and a few minutes in a taxi (with large, unexpected breaks inbetween). Literally planes, trains & automobiles! Is it any wonder we slept for for 13 hours straight once we got here?! Unfortunately the one bag we checked is lost (hopefully not for good), and that was the bag with my paint in it. Of course. So, while we wait, here is a recent favorite of mine. It was tough getting the orange glow - I had to put quite a bit of orange into everything to make it read, but then when I REALLY squinted I saw - it was really there.

Welcome to snowy Germany O:-) At least you've arrived, but perhaps it's good to relax first before going on painting.
The orange glow looks great!

Wow! How long will you be in Germany? I love your painting. You have such a precise, artistic eye. Your work looks fresh and vibrant, and not overworked, like so many. It's wonderful!

Here's hoping your luggage shows up today! Enjoy your time there, and breathe.... even if you can't paint - maybe that's a sign from the Universe that you are supposed to just visit and relax - which you never get to do! And THINK how hungry you'll be to paint when you get to! The Black Forest in Winter - you will want to take a lot of photos! Enjoy!

Hurray, you got there! I hear that Frankfurt is in a snowstorm today - have a sister stuck in Barcelona. The bag will surely show up. Have a wonderful Christmas - how very special to experience it in the Schwarzwald! I like what Kelley said - breathe - rest - enjoy! Frohe Weihnachten!

oh, ha, forgot that I wanted to say - I love your painting, of course. Interesting that placing orange into the rest makes the orange pop more - brings it all together. Good point - will work with that one.

I had to come back and mention the solidity of the glass that you get in your paintings. One can see the depth.
Dramatic color!
