"Fixer Upper" - SOLD


We found this old jeep deep in a Telluride garage. And had a nice chat with the guy fixing up the house next to it while we painted. The values were tough here - it was too easy to make the jeep way lighter. I ended up reworking quite a bit to get them right.

Wow! Love it! The perfect amount of foreground and placement of the truck. You must have your 'painter's eye' out all the time!

This is such a great little painting. It's so subtle that the simple nuances appear. The nose of the jeep catching some light, but not the windshield, the light on the near roof, the yellow bit on the curb, highlights on the fence, the red thing. I love the orange on the grill. :)
